all the words between us started with a poem about unrequieted love:

i wish they made sense
the backstory:
while the poem was originally written in highschool, it wasn’t untill my junior of college i had the courage to adapt the poem and my experiences of falling in love for the first time. writing and directing a short film about the confusion i felt about falling in love with a girl and accepting my queerness was a healing and emotive experience i will never forget. unlike at the time I wrote the poem, I finally understood the nature of finding true love: loving myself first.
synopsis:
All The Words Between Us is a queer short film exploring the blurry boundaries of female friendship and the desired to be loved at all costs. So when an overachiving suicidal teenager, Aliyah, finds solace with her self-destructive best friend, Vera, she begins to feel strange and new feelings, is it love? or obsession?

here was our quick promotional video we shot to raise money for the short film. me and the main leads of the film met on top of a univeristy parking garage and acted like the teenagers we knew we used to be.
